INVESTORS
As a regulated entity, Goparity must annually classify investors based on the type of investor they are.
Crowdlending investors are categorised as Sophisticated Investors or Non-Sophisticated Investors, depending on the information provided during account creation. Non-Sophisticated Investors are advised to exercise extra caution when investing. Find out more here.
Non-Sophisticated investors must complete questionnaire, a knowledge test and a simulation to bear loss. During this process, questions about income are asked.
But don't worry, this information is not shared with anyone. Its purpose is to help you make informed and safer investment decisions, being mindful of the risks of capital loss.
Non-Sophisticated Investors are warned of capital loss risks if intending to invest more than 5% of their net worth (or €1,000, whichever is higher) in a single campaign.
The maximum recommended capacity for Non-Sophisticated Investors to bear capital loss is 10% of their net worth.
