Is there a limit to how much I can invest?
Under the new European Crowdfunding Regulation [Regulation (EU) 2020/1503], which licenses Goparity's crowdlending services, investment limits imposed by Portuguese law have been removed.
A crowdlending campaign on our platform can raise up to €5,000,000.00 per promoter per year.
- Sophisticated Investors have no maximum investment limit.
- Non-Sophisticated Investors may invest freely but are advised not to exceed:
- €1,000.00, or
- 5% of their net worth, whichever is higher.
Please note that investing in Goparity campaigns involves the risk of partial or total loss of the capital invested. Non-Sophisticated Investors can only invest these amounts after accepting a risk warning. If they refuse, the investment is not allowed.
Non-Sophisticated Investors may request to be treated as Sophisticated Investors, removing the recommended investment limits. Learn more here.
