Aroundinspire has developed AQVA MORE®, a technological system, intuitive and easy to install in any house or apartment to save considerable amounts of water. The device prevents cold water from being released when you open the hot water tap, making sure water runs only when it reaches the desired temperature. This is possible because the system retains the cold water, that would otherwise be wasted, in the pipes. In a four-person household, Aqva More can avoid wasting about 20.000 liters of water per year.

The funds raised through this campaign will be used to:

Purchase molds (reducing production costs and leading to higher market competitiveness) and to produce more units to respond to increasing demand.

Aqva More is a Portuguese product that adds value to Smart Cities by contributing to urban water efficiency in residential, service, and industrial areas. Its main objective is to lower the per capita consumption of potable water, acting directly on waste in hot water taps, optimizing the distribution infrastructure of domestic hot water. Aqvamore makes it possible to reduce daily waste in a simple way by valuing water as a vital resource for environmental sustainability and life quality of future generations.

In Portugal, it is estimated that 100,000 m3 of water is wasted daily due to hot water consumption alone. This technology might allow all of us to fight this effortlessly, avoiding waste (and scarcity). Additionally, it is relevant to consider the reduction of the economic, ecological, and social cost of the water distribution system and subsequent water treatment (water lost during the heating process is drinking water).

Aqva More's mission is "to change the drinking water consumption paradigm through information on consumption, savings, and the Water&Energy nexus". When you turn on the tap to take a shower, wash the dishes or access hot water, avoid wasting all the cold potable water that is normally lost.

Direct

Efficient use of water resources: each Aqva More appliance installed can avoid wasting 20,000 liters of water per year for a four-person household. In addition, because it has a highly efficient water pump, the appliance has low energy consumption, estimated at less than 1.00€ per year in electricity costs.

Indirect

Reduction of costs with water consumption for final consumers: by saving 15 to 45 liters of water per day in a four-person household, and 20 thousand liters per year, the costs with water consumption will be reduced.
Innovation in the Portuguese industry: Aqva More is a (mostly) Portuguese product based on development and innovation that produces synergies with several Portuguese suppliers, from design and patent, through the assembly of machinery and production, to marketing and advertising.
