Description
This pilot project is a partnership between Amplicercanias and Cimpor, a company of the InterCement group, and is another step towards the decarbonization of its energy consumption. The projects aims in financing photovoltaic power plant which will produce 475MWh of clean energy per year.

About AMPLICERCANIAS - LDA
Amplicercanias is a company incorporated in March 2018 with the purpose of building and operating a photovoltaic power plant at the facilities of Sacopor. It is 95% owned by Tilera, Unipessoal, Lda, a company classified by Iberinform with a score rating 5, equivalent to a low level of default.
After the success of Sacopor Solar, a solar project funded with 287.500€ by GoParity in April 2018, Amplicercanias created the Power Angels brand. Power Angels is a promoter of clean energy projects that operates in several business areas, with the purpose of having returns that will cause a big impact. Power Angels is centered in a simple business model that acts as a leader investor in renewable energy projects and energetic efficiency, a model “out of balance”, sharing the profit and the savings from the projects and their hosts. The social purpose is the foundation of its creation, fulfilling the need of financial revenue so the delivery of the money is fair both to the environment and to the investors.
Business Model
Following the same model used in Sacopor Solar project, Amplicercanias leads this 68.000€ solar power project investment, participating with 10.000€ of its own capital, and sharing the financial benefits from the energy production with Santos e Bairros, through a monthly rent.
