Ambiente Solar is a company that contributes towards environmental sustainability by designing solar energy systems for individuals, businesses, and communities.
Since 2016, the promoter has focused on the design, construction, and implementation of solar energy systems. In 2024, Ambiente Solar is taking advantage of legal and tax incentives for renewable energy investments in Colombia by launching a project to build six mini solar farms. These farms will help produce clean energy and help reduce carbon emissions.
This campaign goal is to raise the necessary funds to co-finance the construction of its first mini solar farm, which will generate 1 megawatt-hour of electricity.
When compared to major solar parks, a mini farm takes up smaller pieces of land and has non-invasive construction processes, reducing the infrastructure's environmental and social impact on surrounding communities. For this reason, Colombian legislation allows designing and building mini solar farms, that generate up to 1 Megabyte of energy, without environmental licenses or community approval. In addition, national regulation requires energy distribution companies to purchase the energy generated from renewable sources to diversify the composition of the country's energy matrix.
Ambiente Solar has established the optimal geographical locations to build six mini farms using specialized software to find land that historically secures constant and direct solar radiation for most of the year. Once the location has been selected, the promoter analyzes the access roads and proximity to the energy connection lines and then purchases the land. After this, their team of engineers defines the sizing of each mini farm and designs the equipment infrastructure necessary to collect solar radiation, generate electrical energy, and connect to the grid. Subsequently, the land is adapted according to the design, the equipment is negotiated with strategic suppliers and they proceed with the installation process. Finally, the necessary connections are made so that Ambiente Solar can either sell the energy, or the mini farm itself.

In 2016, Julian Echavarria decided to enter the market with a comprehensive offer for photovoltaic energy generation solutions by founding Ambiente Solar.
In the eight years that followed, Ambiente Solar has developed projects for public sector companies such as SENA (with a 3 million dollar budget), and private sector companies such as Promigas (worth 1.25 million dollars). Ambiente Solar has co-financed solar energy systems worth 1 million dollars through leasing, alongside Davivienda, Bancolombia, and BBVA banks.
The company has its offices and its main warehouse in the city of Sabaneta in Antioquia, where they hire 55 employees, most of them concentrated in the technical and commercial areas which are the central focuses of their operation.
Master's in Renewable Energies from the Environmental Training Institute. Specialist in project management. With over 15 years of experience implementing photovoltaic solutions, he is one of the pioneers in establishing a solar farm in Panama. Julian Echavarria owns 100% of Ambiente Solar's shares.
The promoter's main focus is the construction of solar energy systems for companies and mini solar farms.

The mini solar farm of Momil, Colombia, by Ambiente Solar is being installed. The land’s studies and adaptation were concluded, allowing the start of the ground structures’ installation, where the solar panels will later be placed.
The funding amount was applied to the purchase of the panels, inverters, structures and materials for the photovoltaic system’s operation site.
This mini solar farm is the first of the six farms planned by the promoter, three to be completed still in 2024. The solar park in small-scale enables a faster execution and by taking up smaller pieces of land, is a less invasive alternative.

Regarding the process of generating the contracts for Ambiente Solar: Minifarm, which is taking substantially longer than average compared to most projects launched through our platform, Goparity deemed it relevant to provide an update on its progress.
This loan is secured by three types of guarantees: personal guarantee, pledge of movable assets (solar panels to be acquired), and a mortgage.
The process of formalising the last guarantee – the mortgage – is taking longer than usual.
The mortgage is established through its registration in the Colombian Property Registry.
Due to administrative delays on the part of the notary at the Bogotá notary office where it was executed, the request for registration has not yet been submitted by the notary office. Goparity’s lawyers have been pressing the notary office daily for a swift conclusion to the process.
The reason given by the notary office for the delay is an ongoing period with a higher-than-usual volume of processes.
According to Goparity’s experience in constituting mortgages in Colombia, the registration process typically takes between 2 to 3 weeks to be completed, starting from the date it is submitted by the notary office.
The Promoter is also keen for the process to be concluded as swiftly as possible, so they can receive the funds and proceed with the project.
We would like to clarify that, for investor protection, Goparity will only transfer the funds to the Promoter once the registration has been completed, as only at that point will the loan’s guarantee become final.
Therefore, to protect your investment, Goparity cannot proceed with the transfer of funds to the Promoter without confirmation of the mortgage registration. The corresponding payment schedule will begin upon the transfer being made.
Goparity is eagerly awaiting the conclusion of the mortgage process by the Colombian notary office and will share further updates as soon as it is completed.
Finally, we would like to thank you for your patience and understanding, and we reiterate that we will continue working to provide you with positive investment experiences on the platform.

The promoter, Ambiente Solar S.A.S., successfully raised 100% of the funds targeted for this campaign, amounting to €563,500, in less than two weeks.
Your loan is backed by three guarantees to protect your investment:
Information about the types of guarantees associated with loans is provided in the Key Investment Information Sheet (KIIS) for each campaign.
To protect investments on the platform, promoters only receive funds after the guarantees have been duly formalized. This is essential to ensure protection of your investment.
Learn more about the steps taken after the campaign goal is reached here: What happens after a campaign closes? / When will I start receiving my money after investing?
Goparity strives to make the process of formalizing guarantees as quick as possible; however, its duration may vary depending on the applicable law in the promoter's country, the type of guarantee, and the bureaucratic load of the associated procedures.
In this case, the conclusion of the legal and contractual requirements to close formalize the guarantees is taking longer than usual, but Goparity is actively working with the promoter and Colombian authorities to complete the process as soon as possible.
Once the guarantees are on Goparity’s side, the funds will be transferred to the promoter, and the payment plan will begin. At that time, this project will be available in the "Contracts > Ongoing" section. You can also check the payment plan and the status of your loan on the same page.
Thank you for your patience.
We will update you as soon as the process is complete.
