The funds raised from this campaign will be used to install a photovoltaic plant for self-consumption at the company's headquarters to reduce its dependence on grid energy, and stabilize electricity costs while reducing your carbon footprint.

The project entails the installation of 96 photovoltaic panels of 545W to produce 52.32kWp of clean energy.

The installer of the project will be Lendel Media Solutions, a technology company with over 11 years of activity. Lendel offers renewable energy projects to its clients. Their aim is to promote positive social, environmental and cultural change.

Contributing to the decarbonization of the economy, by avoiding the emission of CO2: with an estimated clean energy production of 74.45 MWh annually, the solar plant will help avoid the emission of more than 10 tonnes of CO2 per year, equivalent to planting 464 trees.
Cost reduction for the final client: the decentralized energy production through renewable sources, close to the consumption site, helps to avoid distribution costs, making this a more competitive option than reverting to the national grid. Furthermore, the decreased dependency of the company on the national grid, makes it less vulnerable to price fluctuations and fiscal charges.

Officially founded in 1993, but heir to a family business of more than 40 years, MACO has already proven its solidity and experience in the market. Maco's main activity is manufacturing and distributing sandwiches, snacks, pizzas and other similar products for the hotel and tourism sector.

It is especially relevant the knowledge the company has acquired and the close relationship it has created with its chain of suppliers and customers. MACO is a three generation company where the granddaughters of the founder and his son are involved in daily operations, contributing with their experience and dedication.

The promoter always gives preference to local suppliers of agricultural and other fresh products and sells directly to the final customer, without intermediaries. MACO distinguishes itself by the speed of its service, delivering orders to hostels within 24 hours and guaranteeing a daily delivery of picnics services to hotels and sandwiches directly to supermarkets.
