Impact
This project will have the following positive impact:

Avoid the emission of 2 tons of CO2 per year (equivalent to planting 91 trees)

Production of 7,4 MWh per year of clean electricity

64% of energy consumption will come from renewable sources
At the same time, this project will also have an indirect impact:

Reduction of the company electricity costs

Raising awareness of sustainability issues in its community of workers and customers
Project Information
This campaign will be used to fund the installation of solar panels for self-consumption in the Portuguese metalworks company, Filipe Pinhal, Lda.
It will be a 3,35 kWp solar photovoltaic installation on the rooftop of the company facility.
The solar panels will have an estimated annual production of 7.422 kWh, which corresponds to around 64% of the company's energy needs (current consumption is 11.640 kWh).
Financial Viability
The photovoltaic solar system will be used for self-consumption, allowing a total annual saving of 824 € in the electricity bill of the company. The pannels have an expected lifetime of 25 years.
