ABOUT GOPARITY

Goparity is an impact finance and investment platform that empowers people and companies to actively contribute to the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. We have funded +200 projects in more than ten different countries across Europe, South America, and Africa. In the past 12 months we have had significant growth in investment, culminating in a month of June with +1M€ invested through the platform. Together we invested more in sustainable projects within this period as we did since we started the company: over 8,5M€. We are looking for smart creative people who want to take part in our mission to democratize the financial sector, for the good of people and our planet.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

A storyteller by nature eager to work in an impact-driven startup, and to be constantly learning, while taking full responsibility for the tasks they develop. Someone who can communicate Goparity in a simple and creative way. You will play a key role in creating a strong coherent brand and in growing our community. This is a unique opportunity to join an organization aimed at disrupting the finance market. You will be part of the Marketing team, working closely with the Business Development, Impact and Customer Support teams.


ABOUT THE ROLE – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help create a consistent brand, that is relevant, trustworthy, transparent, and empathic. We are on a mission to democratize access to sustainable finance. You should find the right content pillars, aligned with our brand identity and values (which you will help shape), that combine the right tone of voice and relevant content for our audience.
  • Write about Goparity in a clear way across all social media channels: we are not as boring as a Bank, but we are dealing with people’s money, so all our content must be sharp. You will be responsible for developing our content across all social media platforms (as of now, Facebook, Linkedin and Instagram), creating a narrative that both educates about finance and sustainability, while keeping proximity with our audience. We are a human-to-human brand.
  • Communicate Goparity in a visually creative way: we have a lot to say about the banking industry. We expect you to take ownership of our content strategy on social media. Regularly publish content that ensures we stay top of mind with our target audience, increases our engagement, builds brand awareness, and drives traffic to our website and app.
  • Influencer Marketing implementation: manage the relationship with the current influencers we work with and develop new partnerships in Europe. Quantitatively analyse content and influencer performance to determine the right influencers, content, and strategy for our campaigns in each market


ABOUT YOU

Mandatory

  • You are… Pro in internet culture, always up to date with the most recent trends, influencers, social activists... You are the first to register on the new social media channel “in town”.
  • You are… Creative and always come up with new and creative ways to communicate different products/brands. At Goparity you will be communicating to environmental activists, finance experts, business owners, 40-year-olds saving for retirement;
  • You are… A native or proficient English speaker: we are an English first company and we are looking for a grammar “freak” with excellent English copywriting skills.
  • You have a degree in marketing, communication, design, or advertising, or proven experience in these areas.
  • Proven experience in managing a social media channel.
  • You are curious and creative, and able to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are Eager to grow as Goparity grows
  • You like working as part of a team but can work autonomously and be self-driven and self-directed.

Bonus points for

  • Experience in the start-up world and/or in a SaaS company.
  • Passion for personal finance;
  • Photography and/or video skills;
  • Experience with paid advertising (Facebook, Instagram, Google ads, …)
  • Experience in an international environment.
  • Ability to read and write in Spanish and/or Portuguese
  • A portfolio that proves your experience

Location: Our main office is in Lisbon, Portugal (Casa do Impacto) and we just joined the Impact Hub in Barcelona, Spain, too.
