Marketing and Sales Operations Intern

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

First things first, this internship will be supported by IEFP, so please make sure you are eligible. The duration of this internship is 9 months. 

We are looking for someone who holds a bachelor’s degree preferably in management and/or business administration. A team player who is hands-on and enjoys working with operational challenges. Someone who is not afraid of organizational tasks, who enjoys technical environments, and is quick to adapt to new tools. 

The goal is for the intern to own diverse operational tasks related to the projects that seek financing through our crowdlending platform. You will be part of a growing start-up, report to Business Development, and to Marketing and Communication, and work closely with several teams. 

About The Role – Key Responsibilities 

Our project pipeline involves many departments from Business Development/Sales (BizDev), Risk, Impact, and Marketing and Communication (Marcomms) to Operations. 

You will play a support role to BizDev and Marcomms ensuring operational procedures run as smoothly as possible. 

Key tasks include: 

• CRM updating 
• Procedure updates 
• Preparation of proposals for potential clients 
• Database management and organization 
• Preparation of email templates 
• Campaign preparation 
• Project updates 
• Translations 
• Support in EU projects 

The duration of this internship is 9 months. Most tasks will be operational, but you will develop process design and optimisation skills, alongside teamwork skills. The goal is to grant you maximum autonomy in responding to internal and external requests, following procedures, and identifying improvements. 

ABOUT YOU 

Mandatory 

• You are eligible for an IEFP internship. 
• You are fluent in Portuguese and English, 
• You have excellent writing skills in both Portuguese and English, 
• You are positive, communicative, and a good mediator, 
• You like to be hands-on, 
• You are a creative and resourceful person, who likes to solve problems. 
• You are meticulous and know how to keep your files and folders organized. 
• You are results-driven. 
• You are organized and attentive to details. 
• You’re quick to adopt new tools to increase your productivity. 

Bonus points for 

• You have a cultural fit with Goparity’s mission and are passionate about sustainable development (social and environmental issues). 
• You are fluent in Spanish. 
• You have experience in a CRM tool (e.g., HubSpot) 
• You know your way around financial concepts. 
• Experience in the start-up world, 
• Experience in banking and/or finance sectors. 
• Experience in a marketing role

Salary range 

Your monthly salary will range from € 1.018,52 to € 1.120,37 gross, depending on your qualifications, plus a 9,60€ food subsidy per working day (approximately €192 per month). 

Workplace 

We are remote-flexible (even before covid) – maximum liberty comes with full responsibility. We are based in Wonder Work (Bairro Azul) in Lisbon and have a desk in Barcelona, but you can work from home. We have one mandatory in-presence meeting, happening every quarter in Lisbon. 

HIRING PROCESS 

The stages for this hiring process are:

• Case study/Challenge. 
• Interview with department representatives (~45 min).
