Junior Tester


WHOM ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

A proactive and motivated individual with a keen eye for detail. You will work alongside the development team, and be integrated within their sprints, increasing the delivery velocity and aiming to deliver the best-looking and fail-proof features. You should have a user-first mindset when writing your test requirements (automated or not). This role is open to the possibility in the future to integrate a DevOps Team or the Developers team (depending on your

ambitions).


ABOUT THE ROLE – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Write clear manual and effective test requirements
  • Execute test cases, analyse them and report them efficiently to the development team
  • Be responsible for the platform’s overall bug and error reporting, collaborating closely with other departments
  • Perform manual testing and seek ways to automate it if possible
  • Conduct post-release analysis and software inconsistencies
  • Responsible for the platform's flows consistent documentation.

ABOUT YOU 

Mandatory

  • >1 year of experience working closely with developers;
  • >1 year of experience in querying databases using SQL;
  • You are a critical thinker, able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
  • Great communicational and reporting skills. You should be able to adapt your communication to different people from different departments


Bonus points for

  • Experience with test automation tools (Cucumber, SoapUI, etc.) and various levels of testing
  • Familiarity with REST APIs
  • Experience working with Jira and analysing Logs
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience in an international environment

LOCATION

Our main office is in Lisbon, Portugal (Casa do Impacto) and we just joined the Impact Hub in Barcelona, Spain, too. We are remote-flexible and have been working fully remote during COVID times.
