UX/UI Designer

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

A talented UX/UI designer who can see beyond the obvious, help strategize and execute on a vision driven by the challenge of democratizing the sustainable finance world. You will help define our product by working with Customer Success, Marketing and Development teams, converting quantitative and qualitative insights into a world-class experience for our investors and promoters. The work involves product strategy, UX and UI design across the whole experience (from awareness to reinvestment stage) and all touchpoints (web, tablet and mobile). We are looking for eagle-eye precision, typography, and colour-obsessed, OCD product designer. We expect you to be a great team player, eager to work in a startup collaborative environment, and be constantly learning while taking full responsibility for the tasks you develop.


ABOUT THE ROLE – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the end-to-end process for solving UX/UI design problems: ideate, conceptualize, design, test and refine (this applies for optimizing current features and developing new ones)
  • Ability to produce high-quality design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, and sitemaps.
  • Perform user research and testing: we have a very close relationship with our community. They want to be heard and we want to listen to them and to grow GoParity with them. You will be responsible for planning and executing research, prototyping, and testing UX designed by you.
  • Work on our design System to bring uniformity across our product and platforms.
  • Contribute, update, and maintain a company-wide style guide.
  • Clearly articulate the company’s design vision and provide suggestions on best practices for bringing designs to life, while satisfying user and technical requirements.


ABOUT YOU

Mandatory

  • You are proficient with industry-standard tools for prototyping and visualizing your ideas.
  • You are a master collaborator (you will be closely collaborating with engineering, product management, customer success and business teams from strategy to definition to execution).
  • You are a tireless advocate for users and user-centred processes.
  • You have a strong understanding of mobile design guidelines: our product is mobile-first.
  • You have 1+ years of experience as UI/UX Designer.
  • You know how to keep your files and folders super organized.


Bonus points for

  • Experience in the start-up world and/or SaaS related products.
  • Knowledge of Figma and Zeplin (we are open to working with different software if you can prove the advantages).
  • Experience in conducting user research and defining customer journeys.

Location: Our main office is in Lisbon, Portugal (Casa do Impacto) and we just joined the Impact Hub in Barcelona, Spain, too. We are remote flexible and have been working fully remote during COVID times.
