The ANPME (National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises) is a non-profit association of employers under private law that aims to contribute to the economic development of the country, stimulating private initiative, acting as a facilitator of business activity and promoting favorable conditions for the foundation of micro, small, and medium enterprises. The Association represents the interests and rights of these companies, providing entrepreneurs with the best equipment and solutions in all stages of their business.
This campaign aims to make ANPME's headquarters in Porto, a more sustainable and energy-efficient building through:
Direct impact
Improved efficiency for climatization and water heating: the installation of a heat pump allows a very efficient building climatization and sanitary hot water and reduces energy consumption, which can reach up to 75%. The efficiency of the system lies on the low usage of electricity, since it uses a significant part of the energy from its surroundings to heat water – which will be transported to faucets and distributed throughout the building, by the diffusion system, to heat or cool down. The energy consumed by the system will be generated by a photovoltaic plant.
Contributing to the decarbonization of the economy, helping to avoid the emission of CO2: with an estimated clean energy production of over 15 MWh/year, the solar plant will help avoid the emission of more than 2 tons of CO2 per year, the equivalent absorbed by 92 trees.
Indirect impact
Support productive activities, entrepreneurship, and innovation, and encourage the formalization and growth of micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises: The The ANPME (National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises) contributes to the economic activity of the country by acting as a facilitator of business activity and promoting favorable conditions for the foundation of micro, small, and medium enterprises. The Association represents the interests and rights of these companies, providing entrepreneurs with the best equipment and solutions in all stages of their business.
CO2 avoided per year
clean energy
The implementation of this project will allow for savings in monthly energy costs since energy will be produced for self-consumption and equipment will be installed that will improve the energy efficiency of the building.
