Sepiia is a Spanish fashion brand founded in 2016 that designs and markets smart clothing. Its garments are created to make everyday life easier and last longer, combining design, textile innovation, and sustainability with features that minimise care needs such as reducing ironing, improving breathability, controlling odour, resisting stains, and enhancing user comfort.

The funds raised through this campaign will be used to finance a new stage of Sepiia’s growth in 2026, focused on two specific areas: expanding the brand’s physical presence through a new retail format, and bringing to production new product categories already developed by the product and innovation teams.
A significant portion of the funds will be allocated to the production of the Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, supporting the working capital needed to manufacture garments ahead of sales. This includes covering supplier payments and production timelines until revenue is generated. Around 70% of this production corresponds to wholesale orders already confirmed with a leading Spanish retailer, providing strong visibility on demand and reducing commercial risk. This financing will allow Sepiia to plan production earlier, prioritise high‑turnover categories, improve procurement terms, and strengthen gross margins. The collection will be produced mainly with recycled and recyclable single‑material technical fabrics, aligned with Sepiia’s eco‑design and circularity principles.
The remaining funds will support the launch of a new physical retail pilot in a shopping centre in northern Madrid. This new format will help Sepiia reach new customer profiles, increase brand visibility, and improve stock rotation. It will also enable the commercialisation of previous‑season inventory, second‑hand items, and production surpluses - extending the life of garments and promoting a more circular approach to inventory management while reducing textile waste.

With this campaign, Sepiia aims to invite a community aligned with its vision to participate in the company’s next stage: developing more functional, durable, and responsible garments, bringing new categories to market, and strengthening sales channels that will allow the business to scale more solidly in the coming years.
Promotion of integrated water management and conservation strategies: The company applies production techniques that enable it to reduce the water needed in their products compared to standard practices. One of those practices is the digital sublimation printing, which requires zero water consumption when adding color or printing designs onto garments. On the other hand, the products’ functional characteristics (wrinkle free, liquid repellent and anti-odor) mean that the shirts don’t need to be washed as much as traditional cotton alternatives.
Promotion of the creation of jobs: One of the two purposes of this financing is to open an outlet store. With this expansion Sepiia will hire 7 workers with contracts of up to 12 months and extendable if the store is successful.
Promotion in the sustainable and efficient use of raw materials: Sepiia works with suppliers that hold internationally recognized sustainability and safety certifications, ensuring responsible sourcing throughout the production process. Both the yarn and fabric suppliers are certified under the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), verifying the use of recycled materials and compliance with environmental and social criteria. Their suppliers also hold OEKO-TEX certifications, which guarantee that materials are safe for human health and the environment. In addition, the stain-resistant treatment used in the shirts is OEKO-TEX certified and meets the stringent requirements of the Bluesign standard. These certifications demonstrate a commitment to sustainable materials, safe chemical management, and ethical manufacturing practices across the supply chain.
Reduce waste generation and improve waste management: Sepiia addresses a key environmental issue in the textile industry: fiber blends that enhance fabric performance but prevent effective recycling. To mitigate this, the company minimizes blends and instead relies on technological fabric finishes, selecting polyester as its main monomaterial due to its durability, comfort, and high recyclability. Since 2021, Sepiia has used 100% recycled polyester, supporting circular production models. This material can be efficiently recycled through mechanical-thermal processes in national facilities, including in collaboration with the company ANTEX, helping to close the material loop.

Sepiia 2080 S.L. is a Spanish tech‑fashion company founded in 2016. Under the Sepiia brand, it designs and markets smart garments created to make everyday life easier: fewer care needs, greater durability, and enhanced comfort. In 2025, it received the National Innovation Award, Spain’s highest business recognition for technological innovation.
Its purpose is to develop more functional, durable, and responsible clothing: garments that support people in their daily routines, reduce intensive care requirements, and extend their lifespan. The company works with advanced technical fabrics and design solutions aimed at making innovation invisible to the user — useful in real life, without friction.
The company has evolved from an initial technical men’s shirt to offering a complete functional wardrobe: shirts, polos, T‑shirts, trousers, suits, outerwear, and new categories currently in development. Its products reach 23 countries through ecommerce, owned physical stores, wholesale distribution, B2B projects, and collaborations with other prestigious brands.
Sepiia retains in‑house design, product development, textile innovation, and brand strategy, and works with a network of specialised industrial partners for manufacturing. This model ensures quality control, product traceability, and the ability to scale without compromising brand standards.
