The campaign will be used to fund the installation of solar panels for self-consumption and more efficient lighting in Associação Comunitária Infantil e Juvenil da Ramada (a non-profit institution of social solidarity in Portugal). The solar panels will have an estimated annual production of 21,139 MWh and the installation of a LED system will reduce energy consumption by 63,5% (generating savings of 2.799 kWh).

Associação Comunitária Infantil e Juvenil da Ramada (A.C.I.J.R.) is a non-profit institution of social solidarity, which since its beginning has been supporting the development and education of children from 3 months old. It was created in 1993, with the aim of promoting solidarity, justice and equality between individuals, and providing social action responses for children, youth and their families. At the moment, the Institution's headquarters consists of seven daycare centres and three pre-school rooms, with capacities for looking after 64 and 74 children respectively. The association has 948 members, 35 employees and welcomes 156 children (in day care and pre-school).
