The platform connects companies and individuals who want to invest ethically, with an interest in projects with a positive impact on people and the planet. We are growing, both in terms of size and impact generated.
We were born in Portugal in 2017 but have since then financed projects and grown a large community of investors all around the world. In January 2024, we were granted a license to operate without limitations in all of Europe.
Now, we are looking for smart creative people who want to take part in our mission to democratize the financial sector, for the good of people and our planet.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
First things first, this internship will be supported by IEFP, so please make sure you are eligible (https://www.iefp.pt/estagios?tab=estagios-talento). The duration of this internship is 6 months.
A self-motivated hands-on team player eager to work in a startup collaborative environment, and to be constantly learning, while taking full responsibility for their tasks. A positive force who can adapt their communication to different audiences while showing empathy. Someone who is a “doer”, not a dreamer, and a solution-finder.
As a Sales Intern, you will assist and support Goparity’s Commercial team with the operation and curation of the CRM and BackOffice, as well as updating information on past projects for reporting purposes. We are data driven.
ABOUT THE ROLE – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will become part of the Commercial Department, which oversees seeking for sustainable and financially sound opportunities for our pool of investors (users of the platform) to support through their investments. The commercial team helps promoters (organizations that will receive the funding requested) move along our project pipeline until they are ready for the campaign preparation performed by the Marketing and Communications Department (Marcomms). This means that the Commercial Team is the promoter’s close partner throughout this first stage of the funding journey and needs to know a little bit about everything.
Along the process, a lot of information is generated and we working to capture most of it in the most efficient way, so we get to understand our ecosystem a little bit better with every project we fund. Within this position you will have an overview of past, present and future projects passing through the pipeline.
Tasks include:
CRM (Hubspot):
Verify that project cards are complete (information wise) before it reaches our Marcomms team (campaign preparation).
Creation of automations, reports, and deal properties in close coordination with the Operations team (you will be learning a lot about how a CRM works and its powers).
BackOffice and Project Folders:
Update of legacy proposals pages from legacy projects to make sure loan conditions match the ones shown in our CRM.
Creation of new project folder and proposal page upon request.
