WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
First things first, this internship will be supported by IEFP, so please make sure you are eligible. The duration of this internship is 9 months.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about data analysis. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and proactive learner, excited about leveraging data to drive positive impact. As our data analyst intern, you’ll be responsible for identifying our internal stakeholders’ data needs, auditing our database architecture and cleaning existing reports, developing dashboards in data management tools and performing data analysis about our customer’s journey.
Key responsibilities:
Data Auditing, Cleaning and Documentation:
Audit our existing data reports and create documentation accordingly, with tables and dictionaries for information system projects.
Develop policies and procedures for database access and use (data governance).
Reporting and Visualization:
Generate clear and visually compelling reports to communicate findings to internal stakeholders, based on their requirements or business goals.
Maintain and create new dashboards to track key metrics to measure business success and visualise insights.
Model data in a way that empowers end users (eg. Customer Success and Operations departments) to answer their own question
Data Analysis:
Conduct quantitative analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in our metrics.
Collaborate with the team to develop data-driven insights that inform decision-making.
ABOUT YOU
Mandatory
You are eligible for an IEFP internship.
You are fluent in English.
You have a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, and/or have completed relevant data analysis training programs, bootcamps or certifications.
You have excellent analytical skills, with knowledge of data analysis tools (bonus points for SQL).
You are familiar with data visualisation tools (Looker Studio, Power BI).
You are a resourceful, self-learner and hands-on person, who likes to solve problems.
You are results driven.
You are organised and attentive to details.
Bonus points for

Experience with SQL and Looker Studio.
Knowledge on Python.
Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
You know your way around financial concepts.
Experience in the start-up world.
Experience in banking and/or finance sectors.
Experience in a data analytics role.
An advanced degree in a core STEM subject
School/University medal competitions in Physics, Maths, Economics, or Programming

Salary range
Your monthly salary will range from € 1.018,52 to € 1.120,37 gross, depending on your qualifications, plus a 9,60€ food subsidy per working day (approximately €211 per month).
Workplace
We are remote flexible (even before covid) – maximum liberty comes with full responsibility. We are based in Wonder Work (Bairro Azul) in Lisbon and have a desk in Barcelona, but you can work from home. We have one mandatory in-presence meeting, happening every quarter in Lisbon.
