The installer of the project will be Quercus Desarrollo de Proyectos SL, a company with over 11 years of activity. Quercus Desarrollo de Proyectos SL offers renewable energy projects to its clients. Their aim is to promote positive social, environmental, and cultural change.
Contribution to the decarbonization of the economy, avoiding CO2 emissions: with an estimated clean energy production of 80,92 MWh per year, the solar plant will avoid the emission of 11.09 tons of CO2 per year, equivalent to the planting of 504 trees.
Cost reduction: the decentralized energy production through renewable sources, close to the consumption site, helps to avoid distribution costs, making this a more competitive option than reverting to the national grid. Furthermore, the decreased dependency of the company on the national grid, makes it less vulnerable to price fluctuations and fiscal charges.
Improving the health and well-being of workers: the removal of the asbestos roof at the factory has direct health benefits for everyone who works in the building. The use of asbestos in buildings has been banned in the European Union since 2005 and its presence has been associated with cases of cancer and other lung diseases, due to the inhalation of its fibers. The removal of asbestos from the roof must be performed by technicians and specialized companies so that safety is guaranteed.

A atividade central da empresa é fornecer todos os tipos de embalagens e soluções de embalagem para as indústrias de cosméticos, cuidados de saúde e farmacêutica.
Oficialmente fundada em 1999, o projeto foi iniciado pela sua fundadora Mari Carmen Alcocer como freelancer muitos anos antes, hoje a empresa está a cargo dos seus filhos e conta com 36 trabalhadores.
De entre os seus principais clientes, podemos destacar a ISDIN. O compromisso da empresa com a sustantabilidade foi em parte confirmada pelo cumprimento da norma ISO 14.001.
