To answer the problem of the lack of meeting rooms for calls or video calls in modern open-space offices, Offcoustic designs simple and modern acoustic cabins, produced in Portugal, in a sustainable way, with high ethical considerations and competitive prices - the Phone Booth for One, the Focus Booth for Two and the Meeting Booth for Two.

After the first successful campaign where the promotor raised 45.000€ to finance 12 booths, Offcoustic now wants to raise an additional 75.000€ to co-finance another 49 units.

The product has been developed and marketed in Portugal, Spain, and the UK over the last three years following a continuous learning and growth process.

Taking into account that there is demand for varying numbers of Phone Booths for set periods of time, Offcoustic has recently launched a subscription model. For a competitive monthly price, it now offers its clients the use of the booths, its maintenance, and the possibility of changing the number of units or terminating the contract.

This modality allows Offcoustic to think from a circular economy perspective, where the product's life cycle and the quality of materials are optimized. With this incentive to create more durable products, improve maintenance processes, and create greener logistics, Offcoustic is moving away from a business model that is dependent on rapid consumption.

Since its first campaign in January 2022, Offcoustic has been met with increasing demand from coworking spaces, SMEs, and startups (check out the website and read the testimonials). Its offer of the "Phone Booth as a Service" is especially appealing for the flexibility it offers. At this moment there are 59 units installed or in production and no customer has canceled their subscription. Finally, Offcoustic maintains the sale of booths for customers interested in purchasing the product directly.

Direct

Promotion of responsible production: production is based on demand and not on scale. Offcoustic intends to implement a circular economy flow in which they own the fleet of booths and thus, invest in its maintenance, to keep them functioning the longest period possible. 94 booth units in total have been installed or are in production now to be installed until June.

Incentive to local economy: production happens in Portugal, working with Portuguese carpenters, and using mostly Portuguese materials.

Indirect

Offset of carbon footprint: for every unit produced Offcoustic plants 100 trees. Until now, Offcoustic has financed the planting of 3.100 trees, which you can check out here, and have already ordered to plant another 6.300.

Estas cabines são produzidas em Portugal, com processos sustentáveis, para criar espaços para chamadas e videochamadas em escritórios open-space e empresas ou espaços de coworking.

O promotor tem expandido a sua operação em Portugal, Espanha, Uk, USA, Alemanha, Malta, Croácia e Gibraltar.

Apesar de não ser possível encontrar uma solução totalmente ecológica para a produção, a empresa caminha nesta direção com a Plantação de Árvores, escolha dos materiais certos, produção local, e otimização de transporte.

Financiam a produção de Árvores em Portugal e em alguns países Africanos através da plataforma Brynk.eco
Produzem apenas de acordo com as encomendas;
Usam Feltro feito em Portugal – material acústico usado na industria automóvel, de materiais reutilizados
Produzem em Portugal, em Vendas Novas.

Desde a sua primeira campanha em Janeiro de 2022, a Offcoustic tem sentido crescente adesão e procura por parte de espaços de coworking, PMEs e Startups (visite o site e leia os testemunhos).

O seu modelo "Phone Booth as a Service" (Cabines como um serviço) é especialmente apelativo pela flexibilidade que oferece. Com mais de 120 unidades instaladas ou em produção para este modelo de Subscrição.. Adicionalmente, a Offcoustic mantem a venda de cabines para clientes interessados em adquirir diretamente o produto.
