This campaign's promotor is the Hugo Maia Wellness Concept, a practice that offers wellness and healthcare services around massage therapy to maintain and improve the quality of life of its clients.

At a time of growth, the business's vision is to transition from an office to a clinic. The promotor will start construction work for the clinic in Oporto. To adapt the space and offer all services and structures necessary for the clients' comfort, construction work will focus on creating a front desk area, two therapy offices, a box for a personal trainer, and a bathroom with locker and storage space.

The clinic's construction work will include energy-efficient measures to reduce the impact of its activity and to avoid energy and water waste. This campaign aims to finance the necessary associated electric and hydraulic construction work, including:

An AVAC (air conditioning) installation,
LED lighting systems,
Taps with retainers.

In a second stage, and according to the demand and growth of the clinic, it is possible to expand to four offices for clinical specialities. The project wants to cover various areas of healthcare, such as massage therapy, acupuncture, osteopathy, paediatrics, general practice, psychology, and physiotherapy - a wide range of options where patients can find the care they need.

Direct

Improving resources use efficiency: the LED lighting and air conditioning will provide the necessary comfort for the clinic’s patients with higher energy efficiency. The installation work has the goal to minimize the energy use and loss and to increase the efficiency in its use. Also, the installation of faucets with retainers, to minimize water waste.
Promoting entrepreneurship: by building the clinic, Hugo Maia Wellness will grow, reaching more clients and involving more professionals and suppliers in its activity.

Indirect

Job creation: with the expansion, 6 self-employed workers are expected to join the company.
Promotion of healthy lifestyles and well-being: the services offered by the clinic are focused on improving the health and well-being of its patients, offering a wide range of services and medical and therapeutic specialties. The promotor plans to set up agreements with the SNS (public national health system) and several insurance companies to make the services more accessible to users in Portugal.

A Hugo Maia Massoterapeuta Unipessoal Lda foi criada em 2021 no Porto. A empresa oferece serviços de massoterapia, nutrição e fitness através do seu Gabinete na Rua de Gondarém 493.

Neste momento o Hugo Maia, fundador e Massoterapeuta é o único funcionário da empresa, mas a clínica a ser construída contará com 6 funcionários (trabalhadores independentes), para garantir dois turnos diários. O plano da empresa é crescer e reunir uma equipa de profissionais da saúde especializados em diversas áreas, para oferecer consultas em parceria com o SNS e com seguradoras privadas.

Neste momento o fundador sente a necessidade de dar resposta ao aumento da procura sentida e de estabelecer parcerias com vários profissionais e entidade do setor. A atual carteira de clientes ronda as 300 pessoas e Hugo Maia quer criar uma oferta maior e mais diversificada.

Os principais fornecedores do promotor são BTL Portugal, Technogym, Bastos e Viegas, File 0 Contabilidade e os CTT.
