To answer the problem of the lack of meeting rooms for calls or video calls in modern open-space offices, Offcoustic designs simple and modern acoustic cabins, produced in Portugal, in a sustainable way, with high ethical considerations and competitive prices - the Square for One, Pod for Two e Pod for Four.

After the three successful campaigns where the promotor raised 320.000€ to finance 137 booths (Offcoustic I, II, III and IV), Offcoustic now wants to raise an additional 91.500€ to co-finance another 34 units.

The number of Phone Booths required for a given period varies, so Offcoustic offers a subscription model, with maintenance, the possibility of changing the number of units, and the freedom to end the contract.

This model allows working from a circular economy perspective, where the useful life of the units and their resources is optimized. With this incentive to create longer-lasting products, and to optimize logistics and maintenance processes, Offcoustic wants to move away from business models dependent on fast consumption.

Despite being aware that they can't change the world by building Phone Booths, the company wants to build an ethical and sustainable business and inspire other entrepreneurs to do the same. Its focus is on building products that respond to concrete needs, in the most effective, efficient, minimalist, and sustainable way, with modern, fair working policies and a focus on the satisfaction of their teams.

Direct

Promotion of responsible production: production is based on demand, not scale. Offcoustic intends to implement a circular economy flow in which they own the fleet of booths and thus, invest in its maintenance, to keep them functioning the longest period possible. 254 booth units in total have been installed and 34 others are booked.
Incentive to local economy: production happens in Portugal, working with Portuguese carpenters, and using mostly Portuguese materials.

Indirect

Offset of carbon footprint: Offcoustic pledges to plant trees for every booth unit produced. Until now, Offcoustic has already financed the planting of 8,000 trees, which you can check out here. Offcoustic is partnering with a project in Lousã, in central Portugal, to continue the carbon footprint offset by planting trees.

WITHOUT HURRY, LDA eres la a empresa detrás de Offcoustic. Surgió en 2020 para lanzar su línea de Cabinas Telefónicas asequibles. Estas cabinas se producen en Portugal, con procesos sostenibles, para crear espacios para llamadas y videoconferencias en oficinas de espacios abiertos, empresas o espacios de coworking.

El promotor ha expandido sus operaciones en Portugal, España, Reino Unido, Estados Unidos, Alemania, Malta, Croacia y Gibraltar.

Aunque no es posible encontrar una solución completamente ecológica para la producción, la empresa se está moviendo en esta dirección con la plantación de árboles, la elección de materiales adecuados, la producción local y la optimización del transporte.

Hoy, Offcoustic:

La empresa financia la producción de árboles en Portugal y algunos países africanos a través de la plataforma Brynk.eco;
Solo produce según los pedidos;
Utiliza fieltro fabricado en Portugal (material acústico utilizado en la industria automotriz, hecho a partir de materiales reutilizados);
Produce en Portugal, en Vendas Novas.

Desde su primera campaña en enero de 2022, Offcoustic ha experimentado una creciente adopción y demanda por parte de espacios de coworking, pymes y startups (visite el sitio web y lea los testimonios).

Su modelo (Cabina Telefónica como Servicio) es particularmente atractivo debido a la flexibilidad que ofrece. Con más de 120 unidades instaladas o en producción para este modelo de suscripción. Además, Offcoustic continúa vendiendo cabinas a clientes interesados en adquirir el producto directamente.
