Installation of 36 LED lighting panels in Academia de Amadores de Música

Impact

48% of the current lighting installed capacity will be cut off, allowing the Academy to have a significant reduction in its electricity bills, which are currently the biggest expense source. The decrease in the energy consumption will be linked with reduction of CO2 annual emission equivalent to 39 Lisboa-Porto car trips or planting 74 trees.

Project Information

In order to improve the Music Amateurs’ Academy environment, as well as its financial health, 36 more efficient and sustainable LED panels of greater quality lighting will be installed in the Academy’s facilities. One of the biggest recognized failures is the weak quality of lighting in its facilities, mainly due to a lack of maintenance for many years. This project will, thus, tackle this issue and allow for a greater environmental and financial sustainability of the Academy.
